Things to Know about Enrollment. Westwind is an open-enrollment charter school which provides an equitable and engaging educational experience that is enhanced by the arts.  The first step of the admissions process is to complete the online application. Parents or guardians interested in their child(ren) attending Westwind will need to complete the online application.  Applicants who are unable to access the online application can contact the school to have a physical application sent to them.  

Lottery Process. Westwind is a public Charter School that is open to all students.  If there are more applications than spots available in a given grade, once the open enrollment period concludes, a waiting list is created, and a random anonymous lottery is hosted. 

Open Enrollment Dates. Open enrollment for grades 6-8 ends on April 20, 2023.  The lottery is run after the Open Enrollment period ends.
